The Eagle and The Wolf
The Little Princess Wolf showed me her friends and soon became friends of the Sea Eagle too. The Sea Eagle
felt so at home in that forest, with his new friends that he kept coming back to them every day, sometimes more. Eventually, very quickly the Little Princess Wolf, and the Sea Eagle began to understand that they were very much in love. They could see that their destinies had some how drawn them together. But to their sadness, the Old Man of the Woods, they called him distance, because he Is so great, warned the two lovers that he would stand in their way with all his power. Sea Eagle stood up to Old Man Distance and said "I will fight you for my love Old Man, and we will be together." The Old Man laughed at the portentousness of Sea Eagle and did not bother to answer. The Great Old Woman of the Sky, who hears all, and is as powerful as the Old Man saw this and said " It is destiny that these two lovers should meet. So I will do all in my power to help them". Whispering in Brave Sea Eagles ear, the Old Woman said, "You must journey through time
doing all you can to break down the power of Distance, for he has only limited powers that cannot last. So looking at his Little Princess Wolf the Sea Eagle said to his love "We must fight the tyranny of Old Man Distance, and seek solace in the sky, and journey through time, till The day that we finally ware down the power of that Old Man." And so Started the Journey of the Sea Eagle and theLittle Princess Wolf....

The Great Sea Eagle was not long on his journey when he was separated by a great storm
from his beloved Princess Wolf. Sad and lonely he flew in ever increasing circles high in the sky searching for his love. His keen eye, known for his ability to spy the smallest fish below in the water, searched and searches the ground below looking for his beloved Princess Wolf. After much, much time, the Sea Eagle, despondent and tired turned to the Old Lady in the Sky, who was friend to both he and the Princess Wolf, and asked her if she could show him where his beloved would be, as he knew that she could see all things from her place in the sky. The Old Lady answered the Sea Eagleby saying: "Your Princess is safe Eagle, she looks for you as hard as you look for her". "How is it then that I can not find her Old Lady?" asked the Eagle, "as it is well known that my eyes are stronger than any animal in the forest, or near the sea." The Old Lady smiled and told the Eagle "She has been hidden from your eyes Eagle, by that wicked old amnion the Forest." Eagle looking sad and furlong asked of the Old Lady, "How is it going to be possible for me to find her, if the Old Man is so powerful that he can hide her from my eyes". The Old Lady, understanding the sadness in Eagles words said to him, "As time is on your side, remember that Old Man Distance grows weak as time marches forward, you will eventually gain the strength and over come the Old Man, and find your love again." Looking at the sadness in Eagles eyes the Old Lady made him a promise: "Know then Great Sea Eagle, that I shell be the power to allow my eyes to overcome the power of the Old Man. I shall watch over your beloved Princess Wolf while you journey, and protect her from harm until you can find her again."
The Eagle
was flying around and around circling what seemed to him a big
Dark and foreboding cloud. He regularly built up all his strength and
tried vainly to push into the cloud to fly through it, for he new he
could find the way to his love on the other side. Each time he flew into
this Dark Cloud strong forces of which he could not understand pushed
and pushed at him, forcing back the way he came.
Then just as he was about to try again to enter that darkness before him

he saw a little Dove enter the cloud at a place that he had not as
yet tried. When he tried to enter the place where the Dove flew, he
was met with the same anger that in the cloud that had befallen him on
every other occasion. The Eagle pondered this he decided that there were
only two possibilities. First, he thought the Dove just have died in
the tempest, not strong enough to withstand the winds. Or, he thought
what if the Dove know a way through the tempest, and that the Eagle
should keep trying and eventually he would find a way through.
As the eagle contemplated this, another small Dove flew into the
cloud, in another place. Strange thought the Eagle, how is this that
another Dove enters without fear? He went to that place and looked
into the darkness before him and decided to try to follow the second
little Dove. He entered the tempest and was beaten back again,
battered even harder than before he tumbled out of the cloud in an
upheaveled mess. as he regained his senses, he heard an uproarious
laughter from all around him.
When he was able to refocus his eyes, he
could see around him a whole flock of little Doves all laughing and
pointing at him.
In his anger the Eagle screached at the little birds in his most fearful
voice "Stop This Laughter....Now, or you will feel my wrath". The little
birds, in their fear did stop, and were still, watching this great
prediter with fearful eyes, each thinking now only of escape. One of the
braver Dove stepped forward and stated: "What is it that we have to
fear from this one who can not even face the Great Tempest without being
thrown out each time, The other Doves started to laugh, but the fear
in them was great and they did not continue with gusto.
The Eagle looked at the brave little bird with something resembling
respect, by this time the Eagle had regained some of his compossure.
"How is it that whenever I try to penetrate this great tempest I am
unable to do so" asked the Eagle, and yet small Doves such as your
selves enter without fear?"
"Why great Eagle it is our very size and speed that takes us where you
cannot go", answered the brave Dove, "for we may fly between the
tempest storms and might to reach the other side, and do so with ease.
For we are fast and agile, unlike the lumbering Eagle".
With this the Eagles head dropped and there was a great saddness in his
eyes. "Why is the Eagle so sad asked the Dove?"
"I am sad for my loss said the Eagle."
"Ha," said the Dove, "see how the great Eagle shallows into sadness
because he cannot do that which is easy for us!"
The other Doves leapt back in horror, thinking the Eagle would strike
out at such a brazen comment. The Eagle, however, did nothing, such was
his saddness.
Even the brave Dove thought this to be strange, and asked "Tell me
Eagle why is it that you are so low, this is not as the Eagle should
be?"
The Eagle told the Doves of his story and of his search for his
princess wolf. At hearing his story and with compassion in there hearts,
the Doves promised that they would seek out his princess wolf and
tell her of him, and tell her of his love for her. They promised also
that the tempest will not last and that he would eventually be able to
continue his journey towards his princess, and that he should not hold
this sadness. With this the Eagle lifted his head, and promised the
Doves that he would forever more have respect for them, that they
would be his friends for all of time.
and so, now knowing that he can at least contact his love, the Eagle
flew High into the sky, and screached his joy for all the world to hear.
Story Written and Told from his heart, by Gorden (The SeaEagle)

He searched and journeyed for many days and months, till one day he came to a clearing. He saw a sight that he hadn't expected. There in the clearing was his PrincessWolf. But she was not alone. Standing in the back ground was another figure. Who could this be? He stood quietly watching, taking in the sight of his Princess Wolf, and the little pups that played around her.
The Sea Eagle quietly flew to a high branch up in the closess tree. He sat and watched and pondered what he was taking in. Had he been apart from his PrincessWolf to long? Had his journey been to long?
He felt a sadness in his heart and he knew. He watched a while longer, but realized he could not handle the pain any longer. He must go away from his PrincessWolf. He could not bear to see her with another. So being the Proud Eagle that he is, he spread his wings wide, and swooped down into the clearing, calling out his princesses name one last time. He flew up into the bright blue sky and headed back the way he had come..
The PrincessWolf was startled by the great bird that had swooped down on her family. The figure that stood beside her took guard upon his family. The Princess Wolf looked up and realized upon hearing her name, that it was the great Sea Eagle. She watched with sadness as the Great Sea Eagle took flight up into the sky. She watched as he flew out of sight. She hung her head and quietly weeped as she knew that pain she must have caused the Sea Eagle. She knew that he had struggled to get to her, and when he did, this is what he saw. She looks at her family, smiles, and knows this is where she belongs.
Behind her stood her mate, watching.
The Great SeaEagles journey took him down many dark and dreary paths. He struggled hard to find his Princess Wolf. But he never let go of his dream, of finding her, and taking her home with him, to his land, to his home.
He smiled with joy knowing he was this close to his dream, his Princess Wolf, and just as he was about to step out into the clearing, to let her know he was there, the figure from behind her drew near to the Princess Wolf and nuzzled her. He stopped and watched. A smile appeared on the Princess Wolves face and nuzzled back. The Sea Eagle frowned. What did this mean? He watched as the figure joyfully played with the pups and his Princess Wolf.
She looks back up into the sky, hoping for one more glimps of her Sea Eagle. But he was gone.
He saw the tears in her eyes and knew his mate needed him. He drew her close and whispered in her ear, "He will be back my love." The Princess Wolf looked at her mate, wiped away the tears and replied. "No, I don't think so. I have hurt him, and he is a very proud SeaEagle. He will not return." The Princess Wolf nuzzled her mate and whispers in his ear. "I know this is where I belong, but I still feel sorrow for the Eagle, as he was my dear dear friend, and I meant him no harm." Her mate nuzzled her close, as he knew there were no words that he could say that would make the hurt go away. He whispered in her ear, "Time my love, Time." The Princess Wolf laughed. She looked at her mate and said, "It was Time that kept us apart, now its time that we need to heal." The Princess Wolf looked back towards the sky. Knowing his mate, he left her side to give her time to think, he went to be with their family. She sat watching the clouds, knowing that somewhere up there was her friend, the Sea Eagle. Alone and sad. How she wished she could tell him how sorry she was, and how thankful she is to him, for all the times he stayed with h er and talked her through some tough times. How he show her the way back to her path that she had strayed from. He was a good friend to her. And she just wanted him to know that he will always be in her heart. The Princess Wolf sighed, and turned back and saw her mate and pups. She smiled again and went back to be where she knew she belonged. She knew that the Sea Eagle would always be with her, and knew that she must go on. She walked to her family and smiled at her mate and said, "Thank you." And the family of Wolves lived on.
